Twenty One Pilots(stylized as twenty | one | pilots) is the eponymous debut studio album by American band Twenty One Pilots. It was self-released on December 29, 2009. This is the one and only album to feature the original line-up of Twenty One Pilots, prior to Nick Thomas and Chris Salih's departure in 2011. Twenty One Pilots is the only album whose songs do not feature on any later release, although some songs have been performed live. It is unavailable for physical purchase, but can still be purchased on digital platforms such as iTunes, and streamed from numerous services.
Twenty One Pilots was released on December 29, 2009 digitally and on CD. After the signing of the band, now featuring Josh Dun, with Fueled by Ramen, the physical CD was discontinued with the band retaining the rights to digitally sell and stream the album. The album also featured as the second disc on a limited promotional 2-CD version of Regional at Best. In March 2015, a user on the website reddit found a copy and shared images of this limited release.
